OFFFMX Opening titles
Here’s why it so d*mn good.
OFFFMX is Mexico City’s edition of the global OFFF festival—a creative gathering where design, motion, and visual storytelling collide.
And this year’s opening titles?
They were d*mn good.
Why? Because they nailed a visual trend that’s quietly redefining how tech shows up: the playful, physical 3D aesthetic.
We’re seeing more and more tech giants—Microsoft especially—lean into this tactile, almost toy-like visual language, transforming cold interfaces into warm, touchable experiences.
The OFFFMX titles tapped into that look perfectly, but with their own twist: odd shapes, surreal movements, and bold colors that refuse to blend in.
It's not just beautiful—it’s strategic. A visual handshake that says: "This isn’t another sterile tech conference. We've come to play!"
Techniques?
Motion design tools of choice would be After Effects, Premiere and Cinema4D.
